We create a more profound meaning beyond surface-level set dressings by diving into the script and getting to know the characters inside and out. Transformation is a big part of a production designer's job. To be able to change the appearance of a location that the director loves and make it better and grounded in the story.

Educate

Education is very important, no matter what field you are in. I want to teach people how to think differently about design and how to create props out of simple, everyday objects.

Magical

Magic happens when the final product comes together. After the design process has concluded and construction has been completed, that is when the magic happens, when the director sees it with the lighting, the frame, and the actors. It makes them feel transported to the world they have developed.
